This Privacy Policy explains how Care with Intelligence Holdings Limited ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use Padel Tourny. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
When you register as an administrator, we collect: name, email address, mobile number, and country. When players are added to tournaments (by you as admin, or when you claim your own player profile), we may collect: name, email, phone, date of birth, nationality, city, preferred playing side, and uploaded photographs.
We also collect tournament-related data you generate in-app (teams, fixtures, scores, match highlights, rankings) and basic technical data such as authentication tokens and, for accessibility and preference purposes, a light/dark theme setting stored in your browser.
We use Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Storage) and Google Cloud Run as processors to host data and provide authentication. We use the Google Gemini API to generate match commentary and coaching content (prompt data is sent but no personally identifying content is retained by the model). We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data is stored in Google Cloud data centres. Google Cloud has appropriate safeguards in place for international data transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
We retain your admin account for as long as it is active. Tournament records, once created, are retained indefinitely as part of the competitive history unless you request deletion. If you delete your account, your personal profile is removed, though tournaments you created may persist with the owning admin field anonymised to respect the data rights of other participants.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request erasure, request portability (a machine-readable export), object to processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email privacy@carewithintelligence.com or use the "Export Data" and "Delete Account" controls inside your admin profile.
We do not use tracking cookies. Firebase Authentication stores a session token in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in. We also store a single preference for light/dark theme in local storage. You can clear both at any time via your browser settings.
Padel Tourny is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email before taking effect. The "Effective" date at the top indicates when the current version was published.
